In this democratic style of parents, showing maturity from children and respect for rules Is also expected to become socially responsible. Hutchinson and Baldwin(2005)-According to them, adolescents with low problem and low personal distress have high academic achievement. Authoritarian parenting style-These are authoritarian guardians who expect to follow ideals without any explanation. Parents have high expectations from children, and less open communication is allowed. Their behavior is harsh. The behavior of adolescents is of antisocial behavior, substance abuse and rebellious nature. Permissive or non-directive parenting style-These parents are open and supportive to avoid confrontation. Which can help children to grow impulsive and demanding. They have fewer souls, are less assertive and cognitively competent. Rejecting - Neglecting parenting style-The parent is unable to live with the children. And is busy for other reasons, which causes the children to behave erratically. It was clarified by the research that in this parent style the educational level of the adolescent is at a lower level. Emotional intelligence Parents, gurus as well as society contribute significantly in providing the role of emotional intelligence in the Indian view. Adolescents in India have a variety of qualities that are inherent, such as respecting elders, caring, philanthropy and a sense of non-violence that are inherent in our culture and transferred from one generation to another.
